John Martin, Republican, was elected in 2022 and is serving his first term as Grant County Commissioner. Commissioners are elected on four-year terms and Martin's term is up for election in 2026.

About District 2

District 2 covers all of the portion of the City of Ulysses and Grant County located north of the center line of US 160 Highway and east of the following described line:

  • Beginning at the intersection of US 160 Highway and K25 Highway
  • Thence north to the center line of Janice Avenue
  • Thence east to the center line of Simpson Streetimage002.jpg
  • Thence north to the center line of Wheat Avenue
  • Thence east to the center line of College Street
  • Thence north to the center line of Patterson Avenue
  • Thence west to the center line of K25 Highway
  • Thence north along the center line of K25 Highway to the north county line
