NOTICE OF DISPOSITION OF COUNTY PROPERTYResolution 17-02...
TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Kansas, acting by virtue of its authority and in compliance with K.S.A. 19-211(b), has by unanimous Resolution 17-02 determined that due to financial considerations, it is in the best interest of the County to sell the following:
A sixty (60) bed skilled nursing facility located at 510 E. San Jacinto Avenue, Ulysses, Grant County, Kansas 67880, commonly know as the Legacy at Park View Care Home; and
A twenty (20) unit assisted living facility located at 750 N. Missouri Street, Ulysses, Grant County, Kansas, commonly known as Park View Assisted Living.
including but not limited to, the assets consisting of the following:
(a) the real property and improvements
(b) all personal property (e.g. furniture, fixtures, equipment, machinery, etc.)
located upon the property which is used in connection with the operation of the two (2) facilities listed above.
A public hearing will be held in the County Commissioner Chambers in the Grant County Courthouse located at 108 S. Glenn, Ulysses, Kansas 67880 at its regular scheduled commission meeting on July 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., to consider accepting the offer submitted by a proposed buyer. Within forty-five (45) days of the date of this notice all protest petitions should be delivered in written form to the of County Attorney or County Clerk for review and consideration.
