Grant County is seeking an individual to fill the position of Senior Center Director.

Grant County is seeking an individual to fill a full-time position of Senior Center Director. This individual will be responsible for planning, directing, managing and coordinating a senior citizen public service department.  Duties will include budgeting, supervising, complying with federal, state and local regulations, policies and procedure, planning for short term and long-term objectives, fostering department and community cooperation within Grant County while delivering the highest level of client service.

The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent communication skills, will perform a client service that displays courtesy and sensitivity, will be dependable and willing to take initiative with new activities and opportunities.  This position will require an individual with leadership attributes, an ability to manage others effectively, and competency in required job skills and knowledge.  Problem solving, the ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, commitment to excellence and quality, and observance of safety and security procedures are a must.

A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to three years related experience and/or training is preferred.  Salary is based upon education and previous experience.  Grant County offers a generous benefit package.
